Advertising’s very own ‘Rubber Woman’
Sticky’s very own Jane Altschwager will forever be known as ‘Rubber Woman’ after competing on NBN’s Wipeout Australia last night.
Glued to our TV sets, our Sticky team cheered and laughed as Jane endured the embarrassment of being punched and struggle with very large ‘red balls,’ but she won through to the final.
Jane’s extra long legs came in handy in the final round as she competed for $20,000 and held on for dear life aboard the ‘Spinner’.
Unfortunately, Jane missed out on the big money coming 3rd in the final.
Sticky Advertising hopes Jane has recovered from her all-expenses-paid trip to Argentina and now she can focus on the Thunderbirds up and coming netball season.
Wipeout a tall order for former Sticky executive
The Australian season of Wipeout will be worth watching for the team here at Sticky thanks to the presence of Jane Altschwager on the program.
Jane worked at Sticky for three years before taking a new netball contract with the Adelaide Thunderbirds for the forthcoming national netball season.
Before hitting the road to Adelaide, Jane flew out to Argentina for a week of shooting on the new show.
We can’t say how far she progresses or who wins, but needless to say, watching a very tall athlete giving it her best shot should be highly entertaining.
Wipeout Australia commences on Nine/NBN on Tuesday 3 February.

Jane is back in the game
Sticky account executive and all-round sports star Jane Altschwager has been picked by the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the ANZ Championship Netball League. This is exciting news for Jane, allowing her to resume her successful netball career after a few seasons out of the game.
Obviously it also means that Jane will be moving home to South Australia and leaving Sticky after 3 years of great service.
Jane won’t be leaving Newcastle until early November and will be assisting in a smooth transition with her replacement.
An announcement will be made shortly regarding the newest member of the Sticky crew.
Meanwhile, please join us in congratulating Jane on her selection and wishing her further success.
