Sticky Internship Summer 2012: apply now
How would you like to receive first hand, real-world experience in the runnings of a modern digital agency? Here’s your chance.
The Sticky Intern Program has been a resounding success since launching in late 2010. So far 10 interns have participated in the program, gaining valuable experience and knowledge. Several have already been recommended into exciting full-time positions or part-time work in the industry.
The Spring internship is about to conclude and we are now taking applications for the Summer 2012 round of our Sticky Intern Program (SIP).
SIP is designed to provide aspiring marketing and communications professionals with valuable training and experience. It is aimed at students currently enrolled or recently completing a relevant tertiary education, ideally courses such as Business, Communication, Computer Science, or Visual Communication Design.
Successful applicants will be involved in the day-to-day administration of the agency as well as gaining first-hand experience in:
- Social media marketing
- Social media audit and assessment
- Search engine optimisation
- Web design
- Web development
- Online conversion measurement
- Account management
- Project management
- Media placement
The Summer interns will be exposed to several exciting projects including a national media campaign, the expansion of Urban Insider and the international marketing of NLYZR.
SIP is 2 days per week for 12 weeks and is based in our Newcastle office. Interns will be given a structured agenda for the period of experience and a written assessment and record of experience gained upon completion.
Interns will be expected to sign a Program Agreement and a Non Disclosure Agreement. All relevant insurances will be covered by Sticky.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the Sticky Internship Program candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be between the age of 18 – 30
- Selected internship field must be directly related to the candidates educational background

Our 12 week Summer Internship period commences 9 January 2012 and finishes 30 March 2012.
